We are always looking for great workers! Our typical worker is high school or college age (must be at least 14 with your own transportation to jobsites), and we welcome boys and girls!
We start at $16 per hour, plus a $50 bonus after working 50 hours (so that’s really like you earned $17 per hour).
$50 referral bonus for you and each friend that you refer once they reach 50 hours.
Work outside, not behind a fast-food fryer.
Get a tan.
Stay in shape for sports, or just your health – some people go to the gym after work, but with Mulch Magicians you get paid while getting your exercise. Lots of high school athletes work for Mulch Magicians. Football, basketball, wrestling, cross-country, track, even the state champion pole-vaulter!
First day is a trial day. If it’s not for you, you get paid in cash at the end of the day and don’t have to come back, no hard feelings – it’s not for everyone.
Only work the days/jobs that work for your schedule.
You can have another job, as we mostly work on Saturday mornings. So it also works well with school schedules.
If you become one of our best Mulch Magicians, we offer pay raises, performance bonuses, and you can get promoted to Crew Lead – which looks great on resumes and college applications!
We are fully insured, including liability insurance and Workers Compensation. All employees are W2.
Mulch Magicians is located in Marvin, NC. We have been spreading mulch and joy in the community since 2016. The company was formally owned by David Hulse, who worked hard with our crew up until the fall of 2023. At this time the company was handed over to the new owner Richard Morrell. Despite new leadership, we still have the same crew, the same equipment, and the same standards when it comes to customer satisfaction. We are here for your every mulch need!!!
